Wedding Registries, Baghdadi Jewish Community

These are archival documents from the Baghdadi Jewish community, all in Judeo-Arabic, with some annotations in Arabic. This is a ledger of the wedding registries for the community from 1947. Columns included are names of the bride and groom, the amount of the ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) dowry, date, fees paid (1%) of the dowry to the Jewish community. The fees will be to finance the Jewish Hospitals in Baghdad.
