These are documents from the Baghdadi Jewish community. Included are letters in Judeo-Arabic from Chief Rabbi Benjamin Moshi, the Jewish Religious Court, and the Jewish Appeals Court; a letter from a Jewish war prisoner, presumably British, asking to remain in Iraq; verification of a community member’s profession and birth place; representatives of the Jewish community to the British Advisory Council; Arabic court documents concerning marital and financial matters; a request to the Iraqi government for permission to allow students to present Moliere's play, "The Doctor, in Spite of Himself."
